MHFA Course Information

Essence Training & Consulting, LLC is proud to facilitate a series of Virtual Mental Health First Aid Courses in 2025, designed to empower individuals with the skills to recognize and respond to mental health challenges. Offered in partnership with TheGalaxy of Poets via Zoom, these eight-hour sessions—scheduled March 22, April 19, July 19, and October 11—will follow the MHFA USA curriculum to ensure a comprehensive and interactive learning experience. Each course completion grants a 3-year certification for a value of $150 per student, with a portion of the proceeds to support mental health advocacy. This initiative not only enhances community mental health literacy but also reinforces TheGalaxy of Poets' commitment to promoting wellness, ensuring that participants are equipped to make a meaningful impact within their communities.

Your donations help us expand our reach and support more individuals and communities. Every contribution goes towards:

• Providing scholarships for underrepresented students
• Offering free or low-cost workshops on college readiness, financial aid literacy, and mental health awareness
• Developing new programs and resources to promote mental wellness through education

All courses begin at 8am Eastern and end at 5pm, with one hour for break. The sessions are 100% virtual with a pre-work session required to access the virtual course. Additional details will be sent via email provided during preregistration to each pre-registrant once payment is received. Each session is first come, first served. Therefore, fully paid registrations up to 20 persons will be accepted per course date. Reflecting demand, additional dates may be added or additional seats. Please contact us for group registrations.
